Safe Working Culture

We place occupational health and safety at the core of all our operations, creating a safe working environment for our employees, suppliers, and stakeholders. We operate in compliance with national and international standards and contribute to our environmental goals by reducing paper waste through digital and sustainable management practices.

We consider occupational health and safety an integral part of our corporate culture. With our OHS360+ software, our OHS data has become fully accessible, reportable, and securely stored. We continuously monitor updated data and improve our system. With OHS360+ we can perform AI-supported pre-job risk analyses, manage permits for high-risk tasks, track PPE requests, conduct site and behavior based inspections, report near-miss notifications, complete LOTO processes digitally, join Toolbox trainings, and report all activities.

Our white-collar employees have field and behavior-based audit targets as part of their performance criteria. These audits are monitored through the OHS360+ software, enabling us to identify and address gaps caused by operational blindness.

Through AI-supported OHS violation detection integrated into our process cameras, we instantly detect unsafe behaviors and conditions. Based on periodic reports, we identify high-risk areas, units, and employee groups and take swift action. We regularly update the software to ensure system robustness.

We implement a comprehensive traffic management system at our facilities. Work machines are equipped with AI-supported collision prevention systems. Pedestrian and vehicle traffic are isolated with clearly defined safe passage routes. AI-supported cameras help us monitor speed-limit violations instantly.

By leveraging digitalization, we manage subcontractor and visitor processes at the highest level. Through the VisitPro Subcontractor and Visitor Management System, stakeholders upload required documents before entering our facilities, complete mandatory trainings online after approval, and ensure fully traceable and efficient entry processes. We also track real-time headcount during emergencies.

In the 2023 evaluation:

• At the İSG’ye Değer Katanlar Ödülleri organized by Çimento Endüstrisi İşverenleri Sendikası (ÇEİS), our Narlı Plant won first place in the ‘Dijital Çözümler ile İSG’ye Değer Katanlar’ category with its ‘Intenseye Temel Yapay Zeka Destekli İSG İhlalleri Takibi’ project, and also received the İSG’ye Değer Katanlar Büyük Ödülü.
• At the İSG Bilgi Yarışması organized by Çimento Endüstrisi İşverenleri Sendikası (ÇEİS), our Adıyaman Plant placed first, while our Bartın Plant placed second.

In the 2024 evaluation:

• Our AI-supported OHS360+ Pre-Job Risk Analysis project was awarded.
